Introduction

The PayGate DDMS includes a modern REST (Representational State Transfer) API (Application Programming Interface).  

The API can be used to create new Direct Debit payers and add them to an existing Direct Debit PayGate group.  

Some examples of how the API could be used are as follows:

• Capture new payer information on an online e-commerce site and automatically create a direct debit payer including the e-mandate, AUDDIS messages and collection schedule.

• Integrate Direct Debits into your phone app to instantly capture new payers and set them up on direct debit.
