For security reasons, access to the PayGate DDMS API is switched off for newly created DDMS groups. If you wish to use the PayGate DDMS API then you must first switch API access on. You switch on (or off) API access on a group-by-group basis.
We will assume you have a PayGate DDMS group already created.
Enter the 'Manage Groups' page and select the DDMS group you wish to allow API access to.
Select the 'DDMS Details' tab and scroll down the page to the 'Advanced Section.
Expand the Advanced section
The checkbox next to 'API Active' is un-ticked. This means the API for this group is currently disabled and cannot be used.
To enable API access, for this group, click the API Active checkbox so that it is ticked.
API Key
The API key is required when using the API. The key must be added to each API call in the 'ApiKey' property of the payer details.
To view the API click the 'Show API Keycode' button.
