As part of the opverall IBAN validation process, PayGate Validate checks that the length of an IBAN is correct.

Most nations have their own IBAN format giving a large number of formats and IBAN lengths.  If Validate detects that the IBAN length is incorrect for a particular country, this error is raised and the IBAN is deemed invalid.

In most cases Validate will append the above error with useful information about why the IBAN is invalid.
