Introduction

DDMS supports a CSV format for importing payer data into the DDMS.

This built-in format is very simple to use and requires very little configuration to get started however DDMS expects any imported files to be in a specific format.

Note: The built-in import formats are the same as the format used for exporting data.  You can therefore use these formats to backup or archive your payer data or to migrate date from one DDMS Enterprise server to another.

If the built-in CSV format is unsuitable or too restrictive then you can create a custom importer using the DDMS Designer and designing a custom DDMS data mapping.  

Alternatively the DDMS API can be used to create new payers.
